NASCAR is once again putting kids in the driver’s seat during the return of Kids Drive NASCAR.
In just its second year, the popular platform has expanded to three weeks and five race tracks, creating even more opportunities to engage one of our most important audiences with great content and fun activities.
SI Kids reporter Michael Nichols, also known as the NASCAR Whiz Kid, helped NASCAR launch Kids Drive NASCAR earlier this month
Each week, Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers will challenge kids to participate in a series of timed activities like bottle-flipping and cup-stacking on social media. Parents can share their children’s video responses via Twitter or Instagram, or upload them to AccelerationNation.com for a chance to have the drivers re-post the content.
Beginning with the July 29-30 races at Iowa Speedway and Pocono Raceway, NASCAR and the tracks will host children as honorary race officials, green-flag wavers and reporters, in addition to hosting a variety of youth-focused events and activities for families.
All the fun begins today and culminates Aug. 13 at Michigan International Speedway!
